The weather is getting better and better each week, even here in England!! (Hope you have been having that luck as well).
All the sun, the fresh breeze and the smell and colours of the thousands of flowers out there are perfect for starting packing the winter clothes away and starting unpacking spring and summer clothes or even buying new one (which ,let’s be honest, is what we want to do ;-)).
Since I really enjoy browsing clothing shops online, I’ve put together 4 outfit ideas for different occasions but all having in common a perfect piece for spring and summer: a dress!
I could actually make a career out of this if someone payed me ;-P , but meanwhile I’ll just do it cause it’s something that I love doing anyway.
All of the outfits have a pair of sunglasses just because it has been so sunny lately that I guess is very much needed and appreciated.
◊The first outfit is a very casual one, could be worn for a lot of different occasion, for example: a shopping session with friends or even exploring during holidays (oh holidays *-*)
The dress is very summery and the flowers give it a touch of spring, which could be worn with sandals with flowers on them as well but with a more neutral colour. Accessorising with some baby blue sunglasses, baby blue mini bag and nude watch ( even if you don’t need to be on time if you are on vacations, it looks pretty anyway). I love Olivia Burton’s watches so I’ve decided to include some in these looks… I kind of stalk them on Instagram as well…
◊For the second Outfit I taught more of school/Uni students that just want to be comfy all day but still look pretty. Put on a pink dress with ruffles to give it a special touch, slide on a pair of pink loafers and grab your holographic backpack and you are ready for all the learning you are going to do!! You can always accessorise with a pair of sunglasses and a watch to get in time to classes…
◊The third outfit is more for a formal occasion, like if you work in an office and you have a more appropriate dressing code. Go BANG with a bright red midi dress screaming classy but go neutral with the rest. White is a great colour to use when is warmer to feel fresh and the 80’s court shoes are trendy now (perfect!!). Accessorise with a big tote bag (for all the paper work), a classic watch (to be on time for meetings) and a pair of white cat eye sunnies to add some glamour to the look.
◊The fourth and last outfit is occasion wear for weddings or even your’s or a friend’s graduation. There’s a lot of special events going on during spring and summer time due to the good weather and because everybody is happier. The centre piece of this outfit is a cute mint green mini dress with flowers and a bow (classic and fresh) and since the dress is pretty formal, I’ve decided to add less formal accessories as those white and black block heels, some black Cat eye sunglasses and a bright lime green mini bag (to add a pop of colour). Plus a nude daisy watch to feel super duper feminine.
I personally can decide which one is my favourite so let me now down in the comments which is yours. Plus, I’d like to know if these kind of posts is something that interest you and if I should do more of them cause I really enjoy writing them, so please, please, please let me know what you think!!
